About Anthony Petrello

Tony graduated from Harvard University where he acquired a J.D. degree in Harvard Law School. He also acquired a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degree in Mathematics from Yale University. His professional journey started in 1979 when he joined a law firm called Baker & McKenzie. He was the managing partner of Baker & McKenzie’s New York office from 1986 to 1991. He joined Nabors Industries in 1991 after he left the law firm. He became the company’s president in 1992 and its deputy chairman and had held the position till June 2012. He was appointed the chief executive officer of Nabors Industries in 2011, and from 2012 he became the chairman of the board of Nabors Industries.

From February 2011, he serves as the Director of Stewart & Stevenson, LLC. He is also the director of mediaOndemand.com and the director of Texas children’s hospital.
