Dr. Jorge Moll is an award-winning neuroscientist, scholar, and educator that began his education studying medicine at the Federal University of Rio de Janiero, where he completed his studies in 1994. In 1998, Dr. Jorge Moll completed his residency in neurology at the same institution. In 2004, he earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Pathophysiology from São Paulo University’s Medical School. Since then, Dr. Jorge Moll’s work has included being the founder and currently the head of the D’Or Institute of Research and Education (IDOR), Rio de Janeiro, and of the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience Unit (CBNU). He served as a visiting research scholar at distinguished research institution Stanford University in California, USA and was a research fellow with the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) (MollLab).
