Instead of Pitching in the Major Leagues Randy Hildebrandt Pitches for USHealth Group

While growing up in Texas Randy Hildebrandt did not dream of working for USHealth Group an insurance company specializing in various types of health plans for individuals and families, vision, dental, and Short-term Accident disability coverage. The total experience of the USHG companies equals half-a-century.

In 2012 the year he joined USHealth Group he was in the employ of another insurance company. He was doing well with his previous employer and had trepidations about leaving that company. Some coaxing from a couple of friends and a meeting with USHG CEO Troy McQuagge convinced Randy to make the move. See more of USHEALTH Group on Facebook

Today Randy Hildebrandt is a Satellite Division Leader and one of USHealth Group’s most productive agents. Randy adheres to two philosophies. First, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Secondly, don’t think of yourself as an insurance salesman, but as someone who is helping families prepare for the worst.

The latter approach to selling was taught to Randy by an agent who acted as his mentor while Randy was in the employ of the first insurance company. Randy didn’t dream of working for that company either.

His dream growing up was to emulate his hero. Namely the legendary pitcher Nolan Ryan. By the time he entered High School Randy’s fastball was impacting the catcher’s mitt at 92 mph. By his junior year pitching had ruined Randy’s shoulder.

With the Major Leagues no longer an option he tried studying business and economics at Texas A&M. That career path wasn’t for him. Eager for a job he signed on with the first insurance company. Check this article at Bloomberg.com to know more about USHealth Group

Struggling but determined to succeed he sought to learn from the company’s top sellers. Enter the aforementioned mentor. His own resolve to succeed and a year under his mentor’s tutelage made Randy a stand-out at that company and USHealth Group.

USHealth Group is devoted to helping clients and non-clients alike. Eight years ago, CEO Troy McQuagge created the Company’s Help Other People Everyday (HOPE) initiative. Each USHG Sattelite Office chooses its own cause. Veteran’s Groups and Children’s charities are among the beneficiaries of the HOPE program.
