Rebel Wilson – Born March 2nd, 1980 in Australia – attended the Australian Theatre for Young People and graduated in 2003. She left Australia and moved to the United States of America to further her career and successfully gained a role in Bridesmaids. She followed this with several more roles including her arguably most well-known role as “Fat Amy” in the Pitch Perfect series.

Her prolific comedy career led her to many awards for her unique comedy style, more than capable acting ability, and the refreshing feeling she brings to any role. On the production side, the script is the result of a collaboration between Erin Cardillo, Dana Fox, and Katie Silberman. The presence of so many women in a male dominated field should be a breath of fresh air with some serious talent coming on board to make the movie a reality.
